Beauty Hack: How To Dry Freshly Painted Nails In No Time

Oh, hi there!

Have ever been in a situation when you have to go somewhere and you forget to paint your nails earlier? And you somehow manage to quickly paint your nails but you completely ruin them by accidentally smudging them on your way.

That has happened to me a ton of times, because some nail polishes take forever to dry and end up getting smudged which is such a pain especially when you have to attend a special occasion and your nail polish is all destroyed.

Over the past years I have learned quite a few ways to dry my nail polish faster and I am here to share that with you and save you from getting your newly painted nails from getting smudged when you're in a hurry!

Apply your nail polish as you normally would, with the usual base and top coat, but try not to apply more than 2 coats of nail polish as it would get thicker and could possibly take longer to dry.

There are 3 very effective ways to dry your nails quickly:

  1. Ice Cold Water

Soak your freshly painted nails in ice cold water for about 2-3 minutes, the chilly temperature will dry and preserve your nails.  

   2. Run Nails Under Water

Run your nails under cold or normal water and just leave them on your own for a few minutes, the nails should dry before your hands.

   3. Blow Dry

Set your blow dryer settings to the coolest and apply the cool air to your newly painted nails for about 30 seconds and your will be left with beautiful and dry nails.
